LATE ARRIVAL

Please note that students arriving late will not have their class time extended. Our instructors make every effort to begin class on time, if you are running a little late, please come in quietly and join class.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

Occasionally, an instructor may miss a class due to an illness or family emergency. Whenever this happens, the school will make every effort to arrange for a substitute teacher. If the school is unable to locate a substitute, we will communicate via phone, email to notify you of a cancellation.

PERFORMANCES

We make every effort to provide one performance opportunity each semester. Participation is optional, but highly encouraged. Information regarding performances are posted in the school as well as in writing in advance. Students unable to participate in a performance should inform their instructor so they may plan accordingly with choreography that will not affect the overall performance. Space permitting, students who are not participating in a performance are welcome to attend. We occasionally take photos of students participating in performances and sometimes post them on our school bulletin board, a digital picture frame in the waiting room, Facebook and our school website. If you would prefer not to have you or your child’s photo displayed, please let the office manager know.

CARE OF YOUNG CHILDREN

The school is not responsible for providing supervision before or after class. Parents with very young students are asked to remain in the studio during classes. Students are not to be left at the studio for an excessive time before or after class. Your child’s safety is important to us. Please make arrangements to pick up your child as soon as the class is over.

Additionally, siblings of students are welcome to wait quietly in our waiting area during their siblings’ class time, with adult supervision. Since quality lessons require attention and concentration, we ask that children who are not participating in classes remain with their parent, and do not play or run around the studio.

Students, siblings, and parents are not to use any of the gym equipment at the studio at any time.
