Dance Class Policies

At Liberty Hill School of Music & Dance, we believe in transparency and communication. That's why we have provided detailed policies below to help you understand what you can expect from our program. We encourage you to review these policies carefully and reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

Tuition for Dance classes (Combo dance and Music & Movement) are as follows:

  • $50 per month for 45-minute group classes, taken once per week. The semester is charged at $250 and divided into equal monthly payments.

A monthly flat rate will be charged and tuition remains the same each month. Tuition is invoiced on the 1st of the month and due by the 5th of the month. If payment has not been received by 11:59pm on the 5th of each month, a $15.00 late fee will be assessed as of the 6th of the month.

No tuition credits are offered at this time.  Flex days have been added into the semester schedule to makeup for any instructor cancellations. In addition, if a student has to miss a class, flex days are available to make up for those days.

Transactions declined because of insufficient funds, past expiration dates or closed accounts, incur a $15 fee in addition to the month’s tuition charges. To avoid unnecessary fees, please remember to let us know if you close your account, change banks or want to use a different account/credit card, or need to update the information on an existing credit card.

In the case of a student withdraw from classes INDEFINITELY, parents/guardians, not minor students, must contact the studio owner/office manager. Do NOT simply tell your instructor.  Notice must be given no later than the 15th day of the month for withdrawl from lessons and cessation of tuition charges. Withdrawl notice submitted after the 15th of the month will result in tuition being charged for the following month even if you choose not to or are unable to attend those classes. You may either email or call/text us at 512-350-5607. To avoid potential miscommunications, we do not accept communications with your instructor, they do not handle billing. Please contact the owner/office manager.

In the case of a student discontinuing classes TEMPORARILY, parents/guardians, not minor students, must contact the studio owner/office manager. DoNOT simply tell your instructor. Notice must be given no later than the 15th day of the month for withdrawl from classes and cessation of tuition charges. If you must miss classes for an extended period of time (more than 2 weeks), please let us know with as much advance notice as possible. You may either email or call/text us at 512-350-5607. To avoid potential miscommunications, we do not accept communications with your instructor, they do not handle billing. Please contact the owner/office manager.

Please note that students arriving late will not have their class time extended. Our instructors make every effort to begin class on time, if you are running a little late, please come in quietly and join class.

Occasionally, an instructor may miss a class due to an illness or family emergency. Whenever this happens, the school will make every effort to arrange for a substitute teacher. If the school is unable to locate a substitute, we will communicate via phone, email to notify you of a cancellation.

We make every effort to provide one performance opportunity each semester. Participation is optional, but highly encouraged. Information regarding performances are posted in the school as well as in writing in advance. Students unable to participate in a performance should inform their instructor so they may plan accordingly with choreography that will not affect the overall performance. Space permitting, students who are not participating in a performance are welcome to attend. We occasionally take photos of students participating in performances and sometimes post them on our school bulletin board, a digital picture frame in the waiting room, Facebook and our school website. If you would prefer not to have you or your child’s photo displayed, please let the office manager know.

The school is not responsible for providing supervision before or after class. Parents with very young students are asked to remain in the studio during classes. Students are not to be left at the studio for an excessive time before or after class. Your child’s safety is important to us. Please make arrangements to pick up your child as soon as the class is over.

Additionally, siblings of students are welcome to wait quietly in our waiting area during their siblings’ class time, with adult supervision. Since quality lessons require attention and concentration, we ask that children who are not participating in classes remain with their parent, and do not play or run around the studio.

Students, siblings, and parents are not to use any of the gym equipment at the studio at any time.

Parents can use the following link to register students for classes.

YES!! We offer FREE trial classes for anyone wanting to "try before you buy". Just be sure to call/email before you would like to attend so we can let our instructor know to expect you.
